Junior Software Engineer - Platform & Maintenance

We are entering an exciting new phase as we expand our product ecosystem and are looking for a hands-on, strategically minded Director of Engineering to lead this charge.

What You’ll Own:

This role focuses on strengthening the reliability, performance, and stability of BPM Music’s existing platforms. You will work closely with our engineering team to troubleshoot issues, support ongoing development tasks, and ensure seamless functionality across our products.

Responsibilities:

Debug and resolve backend issues across BPM platforms
Support bug fixes, error triage, and ticket resolution
Improve system performance and platform stability
Write maintainable backend code (Node.js, Python, TypeScript)
Contribute to API and database enhancements
Participate in DevOps workflows and deployments
Join stand-ups and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams

What We’re Looking For:

0–2 years of engineering experience
Knowledge with Node.js, React, Python, Typescript
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFron Glue, Elastic, Beanstalk)
Bonus: interest in music, audio tech, or creator tools
Vendor management via Toptal/BairesDev
GitHub, Jira, Slack, Notion
