In this role, you willbuild and ship production features in Go/Golang with a sharp, supportive team. You’ll lead by coding, mentoring junior developers, and partnering directly with the client to make smart design decisions. The Tech Stack includes Go, React/React Native, AWS (Docker, RDS/MySQL, VPC) and would also prefer AI pair-programming experience.

What you’ll do

Lead a small Agile pod, model high-quality code and reviews
Own technical design and delivery for backend services in Go
Contribute to React/React Native as needed
Improve team velocity by breaking work down, removing roadblocks, and raising the quality bar
Troubleshoot production issues and guide sustainable fixes
Coach junior engineers and contribute to sprint ceremonies

What you’ll bring

8+ years of software engineering
4+ years Go/Golang development experience, some React (Web and/or Native)
Hands-on AWS & DevOps experience (containers, RDS/MySQL, VPC)
Experience professionally with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) and modern review practices
Experience collaborating with both engineering and business stakeholders while leading a small team
Preferred experience in consulting, startup, or nonprofit environments
