Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Health Business Analyst to analyze data, identify areas of opportunity, and provide recommendations to drive business growth and improvement. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of healthcare data, strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis and visualization tools, and excellent communication skills.

Essential Functions:

Analyze data and use analytical tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity.
Analyze or assist in the analysis of processes and programs in achieving stated goals.
Provide analyses and recommendations if corrections are needed. Investigates and discovers areas of opportunity.
Monitor and evaluate patterns, costs, and trends.
Produce well-documented and easy-to-follow reports, spreadsheets, documents, and presentations (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint).
Write basic SAS and/or SQL programs for data extraction. Modifies existing programs for data extraction.
Proactively seeks training and builds knowledge/experience of tools, languages, and data sources. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.

Required Qualifications:

2+ years related work experience.
Related Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience.
Healthcare industry experience with a solid understanding of claims, data analysis, enrollment, and provider operations.
Experience with analytics and inferential statistics.
Experience writing SQL or SAS code or related code.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to manage tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating complex information to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to design and deliver presentations that demonstrate the value of products and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
Experience with web-based reporting tools and analytic software packages.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to leverage problem-solving frameworks to develop solutions to client business problems. Experience with medical informatics, service delivery, and finance.

General Physical Demands:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $69,400 - $112,800

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $69,400 - $86,800

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
