Accountabilities

Master healthcare claims payment policies and operational concepts to inform model development
Build, refine, and optimize machine learning models to identify errors, inefficiencies, and fraud in healthcare claims
Curate and interpret large-scale, complex datasets to support feature engineering and model accuracy
Measure model performance against real-world outcomes and provide actionable operational recommendations
Develop technical frameworks, tools, and pipelines to improve team efficiency and scale solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement production-ready solutions and ensure continuous improvement

Requirements

Several years of hands-on experience solving real-world business problems using data and machine learning
Proven ability to contribute at the team level by developing frameworks and tools that improve workflow efficiency
Experience handling large, complex, and potentially unclean datasets
Ability to measure and optimize the business impact of data science initiatives
Experience building production-quality code, deploying models, and developing robust data pipelines
Strong curiosity about healthcare operations, claims, and payments
