We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to be a part of our growing Data team. You’ll be

responsible for working directly on the data pipelines and systems that create our analytics data model used to inform financial decision making, product development, inventory management and more.

Responsibilities

Develop pipelines in Spark (Python + Scala) in the Databricks Platform
2+ years of experience operating at the Senior Data Engineer level, with 5+ total years in data engineering roles
Has built robust data models to empower analytics and knows how to optimise for performance and usability
Strong skills in ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) pipeline development and Spark (both Scala and Python)
Is a strong communicator with experience translating technical data concepts into business insights
Has led cross-functional data projects and mentored junior engineers on code standards and best practices
Has a high degree of curiosity and passion for partnering with analysts to understand the “why” behind the data

Requirements

5+ years of experience in ETL development and data modelling
5+ years working with Spark
5+ years of experience in Python and Scala
1+ years working with Databricks
2+ years in a Senior Data Engineer role
