We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. This role supports ECPI University’s mission by using predictive modeling and data science to improve student outcomes and optimize university operations. The analyst will work closely with the Director of Data Analytics to collect, clean, and process data, create forecasting models, and build data pipelines focused on key performance indicators such as retention, employability, and academic success.

Responsibilities

Build and deploy predictive models to analyze student behavior, performance, and outcomes.
Create and maintain data pipelines for ongoing analysis and reporting.
Use statistical and machine learning methods to identify trends and actionable insights.
Clean, structure, and manage large datasets from multiple sources.
Collaborate with academic and administrative units to inform strategy with data-driven recommendations.
Monitor model performance and make adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, data science, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.
Experience with cloud-based tools like AWS Lambda or GCP.
Strong understanding of machine learning techniques for classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection.
Experience in building and deploying data solutions that impact real-world operations.
Familiarity with SQL and data wrangling best practices.
Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
