NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Data Scientist to join our client’s team in Manhattan, New York. This is a Remote, Direct Hire position.

SALARY: $140,000 – $175,000 + Bonus(depending on experience)

Requirements

PhD preferred in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Social Science, Computer Science)
5+ years of experience in Data Science (including PhD work)
Experience in the fintech industry
Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Neural Networks, and Generative AI
Proficiency in Python and SQL

Responsibilities

Deploy and utilize Turbocheck for data validation and analysis
Collaborate with the Director of Data Science and team members on data science initiatives
Work on advanced data modeling and machine learning projects, focusing on AI and neural networks
Support the data science team in building and optimizing models relevant to fintech products
Participate in technical discussions and contribute to strategic decisions in data and AI projects
