About the Organization

Role Overview

This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage projects end-to-end while serving as a technical expert within the engineering team. Key responsibilities include:

Build & Lead: Develop advanced full-stack applications using React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript.
API Architecture: Collaborate with backend teams to design and optimize RESTful APIs supporting high-volume data.
Database Expertise: Work with MSSQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring efficient performance across datasets containing millions of records.
Security Ownership: Implement secure authentication workflows (including SSO) and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
UX Collaboration: Partner with UI/UX designers to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces across multiple product lines.
Innovation: Contribute to AI-driven features that support data insights, analysis, and user experience improvements.
Performance & Scale: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance system performance, stability, and scalability.
Monthly On-Site Collaboration: Although the role is primarily remote, the team meets in person once a month at the office location closest to the developer for team collaboration and alignment.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings technical depth, leadership, and confidence to complex engineering challenges.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript
Strong proficiency with SQL databases (MSSQL & PostgreSQL), including performance optimization
Advanced understanding of authentication, security, and modern identity frameworks
Experience with Tailwind CSS and other modern UI component systems
Practical experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments
Familiarity with implementing AI or ML-driven features in production environments
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across product and technical teams
