Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Software Engineer. As a Software Engineer at WhenWeMeet, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, with a focus on web development. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include writing clean and efficient code, implementing object-oriented programming principles, debugging and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with a cross-functional team to enhance and scale the platform.

What You’ll Do

Ship code daily across the stack: React/Vite, TypeScript, NestJS, Supabase.
Build distributed backend services and a performant, maintainable frontend.
Design, deploy, and evolve our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Supabase, Terraform, CI/CD).
Integrate AI systems into real scheduling workflows.
Translate customer requirements into simple, scalable solutions.
Build the foundation for observability, testability, and developer velocity.

Qualifications

You’re a full-stack engineer who can move fast while maintaining high code quality.
You’ve shipped real products using React/Vite and TypeScript on both the frontend and backend, and you’re comfortable working across the stack.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and principles.
Proficiency in full-stack web development, including client-side and server-side programming, as well as database integration.
Experience with software development processes and methodologies.
Strong programming skills and solid knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment (remote).
Familiarity with front-end development and DevOps practices is a plus.
