We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to play a crucial role in building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets for the AI/ML project. Must be available to work Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST.

Responsibilities

Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to optimize data systems and pipeline architecture.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Develop and implement ETL processes, reports, and queries in support of business analytics.
Use Python, Pydantic, and other relevant data languages to handle data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Implement machine learning models to drive AI initiatives in the company.
Ensure data security and compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

Python Expert (idiomatic python 3.11+)
Heavy data engineering experience.
Experience working with Data Scientists managing their models.
Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
Experience with AI and machine learning models.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
