We are looking for top-tier skills and experience in our remote-work environment and that’s because we offer top-tier compensation and benefits, which include:
- Annual compensation between $98,000 - $110,000, PLUS an annual performance-based, discretionary incentive. Compensation is dependent on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills, education/degrees, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

What You Will Do - Essential Functions
The IT Automation Systems Engineer is responsible for the designing and development of Lucet automations and supporting applications that enhance business functionality. The ideal candidate is a person that strives to achieve excellence backed by strong architectural, system design, and automation experience. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and pushing the envelope with cutting edge ideas and leaps in intuition. Automation and Infrastructure Development: Develop and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance NDBH's infrastructure with scalable automation solutions. Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to lead automation initiatives, and design, deploy, and configure advanced automation tools like CA Automic/UC4, CHEF, and Puppet.
Technical Expertise and System Improvement: Offer technical expertise and recommendations for new IT software projects to enhance existing systems. Troubleshoot and modify applications to meet evolving user needs, with proficiency in navigating, troubleshooting, and designing Windows Systems.
Collaboration and Efficiency: Build and sustain positive relationships with customers. Identify ways to enhance business process efficiency, and coordinate with peers during non-business hours.
Who You Are
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 3 plus years of related experience or equivalent
experience within Information Technology field
- Experience building work flows and using modern automation tools
- Experience with deploying and configuring modern automation tools
- Experience with Git or a similar version control tool
- Experience with scripting, automation, and orchestration tools such as PowerShell, Python, or
JCL
- Experience with automating infrastructure builds
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure Development Server or Visual Studio Deployments
- Ability to pass background check upon hire and throughout employment to include criminal felony & misdemeanor search, SSN validation/trace search (LEIE), education report (highest degree obtained), civil upper and lower search, 7-year employment report, federal criminal search, statewide criminal search, widescreen plus national criminal search, health care sanctions-state med (SAM), national sex offender registry, prohibited parties (OFAC) (terrorist watchlist), and a 10-Panel Drug Screen.

- Working Conditions:
- Work is performed from home with company-provided equipment. Sitting for long periods of time is expected and use of fingers and hands for typing is necessary.
- A quiet workspace with minimal background noise for calls.
- High-speed internet service (cable or fiber optic) with minimum download Speed of 20 Mbps, Upload Speed of 5 Mbps, and Maximum Latency of 100 milliseconds (must be installed before starting).
