ITS is working with a growing manufacturing leader to find a Controls and Automation Engineer. This position will collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to set up, install, and maintain automation and controls projects.

Responsibilities
- Manage budgets and CAPEX for automation and controls projects
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Develop and integrate PLC, FANUC robotics, and HMI programs
- Oversee project management and manufacturing cell design
- Handle specialized contract maintenance and inventory management
- Manage and troubleshoot electrical systems and malfunctioning equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance on robots
- Propose cost-saving measures related to automation
- Implement projects to enhance uptime and throughput
- Train and develop off-shift support staff
- Identify needs for controls-based computers and software
- Establish a company-wide controls strategy
- Support launches, changeovers, and process improvements
- Upgrade equipment controls and electrical systems
- Work with various software and hardware versions
- Develop and train department members
Qualifications
- Pass pre-employment screening
- Effective communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree or related experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in Maintenance or Controls/Automation
- Strong electrical and electronics troubleshooting skills
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing or automotive industry preferred
- Proficiency in Fanuc Robotics, Allen-Bradley and Siemens Logic, Keyence & Cognex Camera systems, Laser Engraving systems, and HMI
- Strong problem-solving ability

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
