Data Analyst

We are partnering with a well-established behavioral healthcare organization in New Jersey to find a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join their growing team. This organization is committed to providing innovative mental health services for children, adults, and seniors across the state, fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Power BI Reporting: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business decision-making.
Data Querying & Manipulation: Use AQL to extract, query, and manipulate data from various systems to provide actionable insights.
Data Cleansing & Validation: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data by performing cleansing, validation, and transformation.
Trend Identification: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that support both operational and strategic decisions.
Collaborative Work: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT and data engineering to improve data structures and reporting processes.
Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of queries, reports, and data models for consistency and knowledge sharing within the team.
Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc data analysis and exports as needed to support organizational needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
Proficiency in AQL with experience querying data from large databases.
Strong knowledge of data modeling and performance optimization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
