Our client is seeking resources for development, maintenance and support services for various Application Development initiatives. Please see details below.
1. Project Overview
This combined initiative supports the ongoing development, enhancement, and maintenance of DDC's digital ecosystem, including the Application DevOps Implementation, Notification HUB Platform, and broader application modernization and sustainability goals. These projects are critical to supporting DDC's operations, internal communication infrastructure, public-facing platforms, and long-term IT strategy.
2. Objectives
- Develop new application features and modules that align with DDC's strategic goals.
- Enhance the UI/UX of internal and public systems.
- Implement and sustain an agencywide notification system.
- Transition DDC to a more agile, DevOps-based delivery paradigm.
- Maintain modern architecture practices and security compliance.
- Ensure long-term scalability, sustainability, and maintainability of applications.
4. Technologies & Tools
Application Development Stack:
- Languages/Frameworks: .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Angular (v7+), React (v15.3+), HTML5, CSS3, SASS, RxJS
- Tools: Visual Studio 2017 Enterprise, Visual Studio Code, PostMan, Soap UI, Fiddler, Webpack

Scope of Work Breakdown
Build tools and platforms to support internal workflows and user services. Develop agencywide notification systems with multi-platform delivery (intranet, desktop, email).
Modernize UI components, ensure ADA/WCAG compliance, and optimize system performance. Support cloud integration and RESTful service interactions.
Implement secure architecture, audit logging, access controls, and data privacy best practices.
Provide application support, bug fixes, and documentation. Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer.
- Sustainable Development Use CI/CD pipelines, maintain clean and well-documented codebases, and design for scalability.
