About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced GCP DevOps Architect to design, implement, and optimize Google Cloud Platform solutions. You’ll lead cloud architecture strategy, migrations, and DevOps best practices, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective environments aligned with business goals. Pay is Negationable.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & Planning

Design secure, scalable solutions using GCP services (Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, GKE).
Define architecture blueprints, best practices, and deployment standards.

2. Cloud Migration

Assess existing workloads and design migration strategies.
Execute application, data, and infrastructure migrations with minimal downtime and optimized costs.

3. Implementation & Deployment

Configure GCP environments (VPCs, IAM, firewalls, hybrid connectivity).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible).
Enhance CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.

4. Optimization & Monitoring

Improve performance and cost-efficiency with Stackdriver and automation tools.
Design for high availability, disaster recovery, and auto-scaling.

5. Security & Compliance

Ensure IAM best practices, encryption, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
Build secure network configurations and governance controls.

6. Leadership & Collaboration

Partner with engineering, operations, and product teams.
Conduct architecture reviews, mentor team members, and present technical proposals.

Qualifications

Required:

Extensive hands-on GCP experience (Compute Engine, GKE, App Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions).
Strong cloud networking and IaC expertise.
Experience with microservices and containerized workloads.
Proven cloud migration and hybrid/cloud-native design skills.
Excellent leadership, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred:

GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Data Engineer).
Multi-cloud/hybrid architecture experience.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitOps).
Knowledge of AI/ML services (Vertex AI, AutoML).
Security certifications (CCSP, CISSP).
