The
Data Scientist position at Blueflame AI plays a critical role in supporting the development of the Blueflame AI platform. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams to manage large data sets, gather meaningful insights, and develop models to support the development and implementation of the platform. The ideal candidate will be organized, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
This is a hybrid position in NYC with 3 days in office.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather and pre-process large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and consistency for analysis
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to understand customer needs and help translate them into data-driven solutions
- Experiment and Test: Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate models, ensuring their accuracy and reliability
- Develop Models: Develop and implement models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems and predict future trends
- Deploy and Monitor: Deploy models into production environments and help monitor performance, and make any adjustments as necessary to maintain accuracy
- Data Visualization: Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate data insights and findings to internal teams
- Research and Innovate: Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, continuously seeking innovative ways to apply them to the platform and customer use cases
- Documentation: Document methodologies, processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility of data science projects
- Ensure Ethical Use of Data: Ensure that data is used ethically and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards, protecting privacy and confidentiality
What You Bring
- Expert knowledge of Python
- Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
- Proficiency in a wide range of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
- Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs a plus
- Familiarity building ML pipelines
- Familiarity with finance and/or alternative investments is a plus
- Minimum 5-7 years of industry and/or technical experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent engineering discipline
The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
$118,800.00 - $207,200.00
