We're a partnering with a fast-growing, mission-driven startup using AI to forecast demand and optimize inventory in grocery stores, helping reduce food waste and improve supply chain efficiency. Backed by Y Combinator and leading venture firms, we're building technology that makes a measurable impact-on businesses, communities, and the planet.

We're looking for aSenior Data Engineer to join our team and help scale the data infrastructure that powers our platform. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly influence how food is distributed and consumed-reducing waste, improving access, and driving smarter decisions across the retail ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

Design and build scalable data pipelines and systems to support real-time forecasting and replenishment
Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver reliable, production-grade solutions
Own key components of our data architecture and help shape best practices as we grow
Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, transparency, and purpose

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of Python experience in data engineering or backend development
Experience in startup or small business environments, with a bias toward action and ownership
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud infrastructure
A thoughtful, collaborative approach to solving complex problems

Compensation & Benefits:

$150K-$200K base salary, plus equity options
