As a Data Engineer, you’ll help build and maintain that backbone—creating the systems and pipelines that ensure our data is clean, reliable, and ready to guide critical decisions in healthcare. This is a role where your technical skills directly connect to something bigger: improving patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do

Build and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

Turn raw data into meaningful, reliable datasets that support insights and decision-making.

Partner with analysts, researchers, and business leaders to ensure solutions meet real-world needs.

Strengthen our data quality by designing validation checks and monitoring systems.

Contribute to both our data warehouse and data lake strategies, supporting everything from BI dashboards to advanced analytics.

Participate in peer code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD deployments.

Learn KLAS’s unique data model and business workflows so your solutions connect directly to our mission.
What You Bring-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer (or similar).

Solid experience with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and Python in production.

Hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in a modern cloud environment (Azure preferred).

Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and schema design.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.

The base salary for this role starts at $120,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
