Job Overview
We are seeking a Business Data Analyst III to join the Customer Analytics team supporting assisted tax offerings in Canada. This role will deliver high-impact analytics, reporting, and insights that shape customer success outcomes across multiple service lines. The ideal candidate will not only build dashboards and reports but also translate data into business outcomes that influence strategy, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Build, automate, and maintain reporting dashboards for Canadian offerings.
- Deliver actionable insights that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and product teams.
- Support seasonal readiness by analyzing staffing, backlog, and efficiency trends.
- Translate data into compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive adoption of metrics, KPIs, and frameworks across customer success.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related roles.
- Strong SQL expertise for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Proficiency with BI visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, or similar).
- Proven ability to connect data analysis to business outcomes (revenue, efficiency, satisfaction).
- Strong communication, storytelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Python or R for advanced analytics, modeling, or automation.
- Experience with big data tools (Snowflake, Spark, Databricks).
- Familiarity with customer success analytics and Voice of Customer (VOC) data.
- Background in financial services or SaaS environments.
