Overview
The Software Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving internal applications that support daily business operations. This role involves working with multiple technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring systems remain efficient and reliable.
This is a Permanent Hire role that will require a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Develop and support in-house applications using PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Design and refine database queries, stored procedures, and data models to ensure accuracy and performance.
Work with operational teams to understand requirements and deliver effective, scalable solutions.
Partner with fellow developers to maintain coding standards and system consistency.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues across applications, ensuring minimal downtime for business-critical systems.
Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and version control processes.
Generate system reports and dashboards using SQL-based reporting tools.
Apply best practices for security, stability, and performance in both code and database environments.
Qualifications
Strong background in relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with business applications or ERP integrations is advantageous.
Solid analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.
Capable of managing priorities and handling multiple assignments concurrently.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
3–5 years of software development experience with emphasis on PHP and SQL.
