Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking a Data Analyst. This position requires excellent analytical skills, superb communication skills and ability to work across a culturally and geographically diverse team and partners. The role involves supporting FIBE data applications, ControlM batch environment, AWS Batch environment and underlying platforms. Responsibilities:
- Applying analysis skills to identify root cause of Production data issues and batch cycle issues, and remediate the same
- Participating in on-call rotation for Production support, shared with other members on the team
- Facilitate change reviews and change deployments
- Propose and implement process improvements to gain efficiencies of scale across the team in US and India
- Automating manual tasks, including partnering with the respective engineering teams
- Partnering with engineering and enterprise teams to maintain a stable production environment
- Recommend and/or develop solutions to prevent the issue from reoccurring
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of IT experience, mostly in Production Support / Environment support role, primarily supporting Data and Batch cycles
- Experience with supporting highly available and complex systems
- Support experience with Financial Services organization preferable
- Hands-on experience on PL/SQL, Unix/Linux OS, AWS, Snowflake, Python and Scripting
- Cloud Administration background to support provisioning, rehydration and monitoring of cloud services preferably AWS
- Hands-on experience with log analysis and Batch monitoring with ControlM scheduling tool
- Solid data analysis skills to triage and remediate production issues
- Experience with Incident management process to lead discussions to restore service and identify the root cause
- Hands-on experience on CI-CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, uDeploy, Artifactory, etc.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to groups
- Ability to operate independently while maintaining focus on the overall project goal
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
