Data Analyst | Onsite 5 days a week in our San Diego Corporate Office

What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Data Analyst who will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions across CONAM. This role will establish an automated reporting system, providing leadership with consistent, trusted views of the business and equipping teams with tools in order to make proactive decisions. By leveraging analytics, predictive modeling, and automation, the Data Analyst will enable proactive decision-making and operational excellence.
This is a full-time position with full benefits. Pay range: $75,000 - $85,000
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Data & Governance
- Develop and maintain a clean, modeled data layer to support all dashboards and analyses.
- Ensure KPI definitions are standardized, consistent, and aligned across leadership.
- Evaluate “buy vs. build” decisions for analytics tools, prioritizing speed, cost, and differentiation.
Operations & Resident Experience
- Implement natural language processing (NLP) to classify and prioritize resident engagement, routing them efficiently.
- Monitor sentiment and themes across resident feedback to identify and address recurring issues.
Maintenance & Asset Management
- Build predictive models to forecast preventive maintenance needs and generate automated schedules.
- Detect and analyze utility anomalies to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Predictive Analytics & AI Automation
- Develop models for operational efficiencies which may include; tenant flight risk, delinquency risk, and renewal likelihood, and centralized leasing including recommended next steps.
- Forecast staffing, maintenance, and unit turn needs to optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor market comparables and recommend pricing or marketing adjustments based on real-time shifts.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or related field or 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data management, preferably in real estate, property management, or asset management, or a combination of both.
- Proficiency with BI tools and data modeling frameworks.
- Experience with data warehousing, ELT pipelines, and SQL.
- Familiarity with predictive modeling, NLP, and machine learning concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Must be proficient with computer programs needed for specific position including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and be a self starter.
- Ability to define problems, develop potential solutions, and make well thought our recommendations. Must be able to prioritize, organize, and address tasks with efficiency.
