We are seeking a Data Engineer to join the team. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support enterprise analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives. This role ensures data integrity, optimizes data workflows, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Data Pipeline Development & Optimization

Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.

Automate data ingestion from internal and external sources into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).

Optimize workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Monitor and validate data ingestion processes to ensure integrity.
Data Infrastructure & Integration

Develop and maintain data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting needs.

Collaborate with ERP, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure and efficient data operations.
Data Quality & Governance

Implement data validation, cleansing, and monitoring procedures.

Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for data flows, architecture, and lineage.
Collaboration & Support

Partner with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand and fulfill data requirements.

Provide technical support for data-related service requests and troubleshooting.

Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

The gross annual salary range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.

Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt).

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka) and AI/ML integration.

Experience ingesting data from ERP systems.

Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Snowflake).

Proficiency with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Redshift, Synapse).
