ROLE
The Data Analyst is responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and analyses that improve operational efficiency, guide strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and support innovation in our digital and financial services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position is responsible for the following functions:
- Collect, clean, validate, and maintain financial and operational data from core banking and related systems
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar tools
- Analyze business and banking data, including customer behavior, loan performance, deposit activity, and transaction trends
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk, compliance, and operations to understand data needs and provide actionable insight
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data while supporting compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
- Support regulatory reporting, audits, and business reviews with timely, accurate data analysis
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance analytics capabilities, reporting processes, and data governance practices
Various other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Full knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in financial services; knowledge of financial products, banking operations, or core banking platforms; understanding of data governance, data warehousing, or cloud-based analytics platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud); working knowledge with data analysis and reporting tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel); knowledge of complex datasets and ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Data collection, cleaning, validation, and transformation experience; predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning experience; banking operations, fintech platforms, or digital banking systems experience preferred

AVERAGE VISION: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus with 20/20 vision (with or without the assistance of eyeglasses/contacts)
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds (unassisted), as well as stand or sit for long periods of time
WORKING CONDITIONS
General professional office environment with climate control. Adequate lighting. Occasional additional hours outside of regular bank service hours to complete tasks.
