Key responsibilities include leveraging models to develop, test, and validating initiatives that enhance the quality and effectiveness of organizational interventions. The Informaticist 2 also plays a critical role in advancing financial modeling approaches by integrating business context and strategic insights. This position requires the ability to interpret and communicate complex data to diverse stakeholders across the organization, translating mathematical concepts into actionable business impacts. The Informaticist 2 demonstrates a strong understanding of departmental, segment, and enterprise-level strategies and their interdependencies. The role involves independent decision-making, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and operates with minimal supervision while adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
Humana is seeking an experienced Informaticist 2 / Data Analyst to support its medication adherence initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and implementing adherence methodologies within Databricks, leveraging data to identify and analyze target populations, and designing experiments to evaluate the impact of these initiatives.
The successful candidate will design and maintain analytical systems, conduct data-driven analyses, generate reports, and present actionable insights to support key initiatives—including Medicare and Medicaid programs, trend management efforts, and other strategic priorities. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful information that drives impactful decisions.

2 - 5 years of data analysis experience

Ability to use appropriate problem solving, research and analysis tools

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$73,400 - $100,100 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
