GTS is seeking a Business Analyst design, facilitate, and synthesize user-centered requirements workshops that will inform the development of a future Intranet Packaged Solution (IPS).
This person will:
- Engage stakeholders (HR, IT, Facilities, leadership, etc.) through workshops and discovery sessions.
- Use design thinking and co-creative methods (personas, journey maps, service blueprints, affinity diagrams) to elicit pain points, needs, and priorities.
- Leverage digital collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, MURAL, or similar) to facilitate interactive sessions and capture insights in real time.
- Translate findings into a Requirements Report that separates user needs, business requirements, and technical considerations.
- Produce a prioritized set of requirements (must-have vs. nice-to-have) suitable for inclusion in a solicitation (RFP or alternative).
- Deliver visual artifacts and a final presentation to communicate findings clearly to sponsors and leadership.
- Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) background check upon hire.

- They are not responsible for drafting the final RFP/solicitation or selecting a vendor.
- They are not expected to recommend a specific technology solution.
- They are not doing deep technical specs (e.g., database schemas).
Core Competencies Needed
- Business analysis & requirements gathering across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Workshop facilitation (in-person & virtual), including use of online whiteboarding tools like Miro or MURAL.
- Design thinking / UX methods (journey mapping, personas, service blueprinting, co-creation).
- Familiarity with intranet / digital workplace platforms and basic integration contexts (MS365, SAP, ServiceNow).
- Strong written synthesis and the ability to present findings to leadership.
Deliverables
- Workshop Plan (agendas, facilitation approach, logistics).
- Raw Outputs (unedited notes/board exports from Miro/MURAL sessions and workshops).
- Requirements Report, including:
- Executive summary.
- Consolidated functional & non-functional requirements.
- Integration requirements tied to user tasks and business processes.
- Prioritization framework (e.g., MoSCoW).
- Supporting user artifacts (journey maps, personas, service blueprints).
- Final Presentation (slide deck + briefing to sponsor and stakeholders).
