Senior Systems Engineer – Data Infrastructure
We’re hiring for a boutique Quantitative Trading firm looking for a Systems Engineerwho loves working at the intersection of data infrastructure and systems engineering. If you're into designing high-performance databases, scaling infrastructure, and getting deep into metrics and monitoring, this might be the role for you.
You’ll be part of a small, sharp team building and supporting a globally distributed trading and research platform. Expect fast-moving projects, interesting challenges, and plenty of autonomy.
Day to Day:
- Improving performance and reliability across real-time systems.
- Building out an observability & monitoring platform.
- Automating & solving bottleneck issues.
- Collaborating across teams to solve big-picture problems.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in systems or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux
- Solid Python skills and a good grasp of database design and performance tuning.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with distributed DBs or time-series systems.
