Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst who can turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business impact. This role will primarily focus on building analytical and operational data products with the end-user experience in mind, helping business leaders and partners make smarter, faster decisions.

You will work hands-on with data from multiple sources, applying strong technical skills to design, develop, and optimize dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions. Success in this role requires both analytical expertise and the ability to translate data into intuitive, user-friendly products that business stakeholders can easily adopt.

Collaboration is central to this position. You’ll partner closely with data engineers to ensure data quality, accessibility, and scalability, while also working cross-functionally with business teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet real-world needs.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
Three to four years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Skills/Experience -

Experience in advanced analytics, statistics, and sharing business insights
Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL)
Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Tableau and Power BI
Understands the importance of storytelling in UI/UX design
Identifies process improvement and automation opportunities and collaborates with data engineering to implement them
Demonstrated project management skills
Comfortable working directly with stakeholders to define requirements
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Embraces Agile ways of working and a continuous improvement mindset
Relentless commitment to learning new technologies and creating new innovative solutions.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,515.00 - $95,900.00
