Join the team as a Founding Software Engineer to come write amazing code, build data pipelines, design interfaces, suggest features, and whatever else comes up along the way. We do not care about your credentials, only your skills and character.
You might be a good fit if you have:
- Experience with FastAPI, React and Python
- Experience with AWS/Docker/DevOps
- Have 1-3+ years of full-time experience at a hypergrowth startup
Strong candidates may also have:
- Prior work on AI, multimodal RAGs, or real-time products
- Experience in hardware or embedded system development
- An insatiable sense of urgency to ship code fast
What we are looking for:
- Strong Engineering Foundations – You write clean, reliable code and have a solid grasp of core computer science principles. Whether it’s designing APIs, building distributed systems, or just writing code that works, you know when to keep it simple—and when to get clever.
- Production Mindset – You’ve shipped real-world systems and know what it takes to keep them running. You think in terms of uptime, observability, and performance. Python is your go-to, and you’re comfortable navigating infra basics when needed.
- Data Fluency – You’ve worked with messy, real-world data—loading, transforming, debugging pipelines—and you don’t flinch when the schema doesn’t match the docs.
- Full Stack Savant – You know how to ship entire products from frontend to backend and enjoy switching between various priorities across the tech stack.
- High Ownership DNA – You spot problems and take initiative. You spec, build, and ship. You don’t wait to be told what to do—you chase the hardest problems.
- 1-of-1 Energy – You’ve been underestimated or boxed in. You’re ready to work somewhere that lets you show what you’re fully capable of.
Compensation Range: $140K - $185K
