Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst will perform complex business analysis and technical tasks across all phases of the project lifecycle, including project planning, process improvement, requirements gathering, system design, data analysis, interface analysis, testing, rollout, and ongoing support. The primary focus is to enhance and support the client’s biometric processes, particularly those involving the Multimodal Biometrics Identification System (MBIS) and LiveScan fingerprint capture systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the analysis and evaluation of current business systems, recommending and implementing process improvements.
Elicit and document requirements using techniques such as brainstorming, document analysis, data mining, and stakeholder interviews.
Produce business analysis artifacts including business rules, interface requirements, field definition matrices, requirements traceability matrices, use cases, activity diagrams, and test cases.
Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
Facilitate organizational change management and risk analysis activities.
Develop and review project test plans; lead and track testing efforts, including user acceptance testing.
Define and manage user roles, profiles, and security access.
Collaborate with vendors to represent client interests and ensure solutions meet project needs.
Develop training materials and deliver end-user training sessions.
Re-engineer business processes and ensure integration or replacement of legacy processes with new applications.
Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, non-technical terms to business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, documentation, and process improvement.
Strong organizational, administrative, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
Proficiency in Organizational Change Management and risk assessment methodologies.
Extensive experience producing requirements artifacts such as test cases, traceability matrices, business rules, interface specifications, use cases, and role-based system profiles.
Hands-on experience with security access management and user profile administration.
Proven ability to analyze functional and non-functional system requirements.
Strong experience in process re-engineering and system integration analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
