PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
The BI Analyst is responsible for using data and analysis to enhance the performance of the warehouse and orchard operation. This is primarily done by building and maintaining a suite of tableau reports for Legendary Fruit Company. This person will also perform ad hoc projects in support of current and future BI needs.
The BI Analyst is key to enabling a data-driven approach to decision making, furthering the evolution of the company’s business intelligence culture.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Build, manage and enhance a suite of tableau reports.
- Leverage azure SQL database, tableau and excel to perform exploratory analysis.
- Gather and synthesize data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Apply data automations to existing manual processes.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through quality checks and validation.
- Perform ad-hoc projects as requested by managers of the company, or affiliated warehouses.
- Work closely with the warehouse and orchard teams to provide support and encourage adoption of our BI tools.
- Look for opportunities to improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve accuracy, viability, and value.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will possess the following traits and skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a drive for personal development
- Experience in the agriculture sector analyzing data from famous ERP and/or HighJump
- Experience with BI tools (tableau preferred)
- Experience using SQL for analysis and reporting
- Comfortable with data visualization and storytelling through data
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite and other commonly used programs
- A high degree of professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A capacity for organization and attention to detail
- A can-do attitude—willing to take on any project
- A demonstrated ability to see what needs to be done and take the initiative
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with integrity and character required
REPORTS TO
This position will report to the VP of Business Analytics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
