Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Data Science Engineer to play a pivotal role in harnessing data, driving insights, and aiding decision-making within our FP&A team. You will collaborate with team members to transform complex requirements into impactful data-driven solutions, streamline processes, and support key business outcomes. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with diverse datasets, possess strong problem-solving skills, and thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and transform them into technical data solutions.
- Analyze business and financial data, providing actionable recommendations for internal process enhancements.
- Create, oversee, and optimize dashboards and visualizations for clear communication of data insights.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of metrics for key business outcomes (e.g., customer retention, churn prediction).
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and models to support analytical and operational requirements.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and modeling.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Industry Experience:
No specific industry required; however, experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) would be advantageous.
