What Makes You a Great Fit
We are looking for a Sr. Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic BI team. You will use your expertise in data analytics, data modeling, transformation, and reporting to deliver scalable, reliable, and insightful data solutions. You will shape our analytics infrastructure, guide data-driven decision-making, and ensure that teams across the organization have access to accurate data. This position is ideal for someone who loves transforming raw data into actionable insights and building reporting solutions that empower teams and meet the needs of multiple partners.
This role requires in-office presence in our Palo Alto office, 3 days/week.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Build and maintain well-structured, performant data models in dbt following best practices and version control standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models and analytics solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (product, engineering, finance, marketing, etc.) to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Gain expert-level knowledge of our data systems, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Develop and optimize Looker dashboards, Explores, and reports to enable self-service analytics across the business.
- Experiment with and implement AI-powered features in Snowflake Cortex and Looker's Gemini to accelerate insight generation and decision-making.
Let's Connect If You
- 5+ years of experience in an analytics engineering, business intelligence, or similar role.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation.
- Proficiency in SQL and with building reports and dashboards using Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- An understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices for building scalable reporting solutions.
- Experience collaborating with teams to create data solutions that meet our needs.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and modern data stack (Fivetran, Atlan, Airflow, and Monte Carlo)
- Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners and experience turning complex data into easy-to-understand insights.
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The base pay depends upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
Annualized Pay Range
$160,000—$190,000 USD
