The Role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist with a strong background in demand forecasting and recommendation systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing predictive models that directly impact our business operations and strategy. You will have the opportunity to work with rich datasets to uncover insights and build intelligent systems that personalize our offerings.
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and deploy robust demand forecasting models to optimize inventory, supply chain, and business planning.
- Build and maintain sophisticated recommendation systems to enhance user engagement and personalize customer experiences.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and marketing, to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Communicate your findings and the impact of your work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence to drive innovation within the company.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on demand forecasting and/or recommendation systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R and experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
- Experience with SQL and working with large datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business problems into data science solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is a plus.
