We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II to support fulfillment operations through advanced analytics, automation, and data-driven insights. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise in data visualization, SQL, and statistical analysis, paired with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
As the Business Intelligence Engineer II, you will design scalable reporting solutions, automate manual processes, and develop performance metrics that drive operational efficiency. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end BI solutions, investigate business problems, and provide insights that inform critical decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated systems, reports, and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making.
- Create high-quality queries and visualizations for ad-hoc analysis and ongoing reporting needs.
- Build self-service tools to minimize manual processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Apply analytical and statistical methods to solve complex business problems.
- Define and refine KPIs to measure success and support continuous improvement.
- Conduct root cause analyses and identify opportunities for operational enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions.
- Develop expertise in diverse data sources and determine the most effective ways to leverage them.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight, PowerBI, or similar).
- 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar databases.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python) for data processing and modeling.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as R or SAS.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or a related quantitative field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, or Redshift.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory systems.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Experience in large-scale, complex data environments with ETL and data mining.
