Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful stories that drive real-world impact? We're looking for a Data Science Analyst I who thrives on curiosity and purpose. In this foundational role, you'll be a key contributor in transforming raw data into actionable insights that elevate member experiences and empower smarter decisions across the organization.
You'll work end-to-end across the data lifecycle - from exploration to modeling to storytelling-combining business intelligence with applied data science. This is a unique opportunity to shape how data is used to serve members better, and to grow alongside a team that values initiative, empathy, and continuous learning.
What You'll Do:

Partner with cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities for data-driven improvements in member experience and operational efficiency.

Build and deploy pragmatic models and advanced analytics that inform strategic decisions.

Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for stakeholders at all levels.

Own projects from start to finish, including data wrangling, analysis, visualization, and presentation.

Contribute to a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and impact.
What You Bring:

At least one year of experience in data science, decision science, business intelligence or similar roles with clear business impact.

Bachelor's degree in data science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related quantitative field required.

A solid foundation in data analysis, ETL, data modeling and statistical analysis.

Strong proficiency with tools like Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and awareness of basic MLOps practices.

Ability to translate analytics into clear, actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.

A natural curiosity and drive to explore, learn, and solve problems.

Excellent communication skills and a people-first mindset.

Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Credit union, financial services or fintech experience is a plus.
Expected Starting Salary Range:
$64,100 - $75,500 annually based on experience beyond what is required of the role and geographic location.
