Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is a private radiology practice with 100+ physicians providing radiology specialty services to ambulatory facilities, clinics and hospitals throughout Illinois. We are currently recruiting a full time Data Analytics Specialist to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborates with the team to understand the data needs within CIRA to enforce data integrity to help drive decision making and improve organizational performance.
- Participates in the design, build, testing, implementation, and maintenance of the architecture and technical specifications for clinical informatics within CIRA.
- Assesses the accuracy of new data sources and effectiveness of data ETL procedures.
- Analyzes and interprets data to develop database models specific to clinical and revenue cycle data sets.
- Develops, implements and maintains CIRA's informatics engine.
- Assists in the creation of policies and procedures for data acquisition.
- Develops dashboards, reports and presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, data science or related field; minimum of one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience working in healthcare a plus.
- Experience in data management and normalization.
- Experience in SQL.
- Functional understanding of data lifecycle and clinical workflow as it relates to normalization, data analytics and clinical applications, clinical data standards including HL7 and DICOM and revenue cycle management and data sets.
- Experience in general purpose and data processing programming languages such as C++, Java, Python and R.
- Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers through written or verbal form.
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Adaptable to changing criteria and situations in a flexible manner.
- Maintains strict confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year
