EMSI currently seeks a SAR Data Exploitation Program Manager who can oversee the development of cutting edge automated target recognition software for both moving and stationary objects in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data. The candidate will need to manage a team of radar SMEs and machine learning engineers.
The candidate must have a strong background in physics and / or electrical engineering in order to understand the phenomenology of both moving and stationary objects in SAR imagery. The candidate should also have real-world experience with deep neural networks and proven executive communication skills. Candidates will need to be flexible and quickly shift among a variety of leadership, technical, communication, and stakeholder relationship tasks. As one example of communication tasks, the candidate should have experience writing clear, concise and technically solid proposals.
The successful candidate will have considerable responsibility and a direct impact on relevant issues facing the United States government and other customers. The successful candidate will possess a strong track record of leading machine learning engineer teams to deliver on time, on budget, and meeting/exceeding stakeholder technical performance measures (TPM).
Applicants must be a US citizen with a TS or TS/SCI clearance.
