Position Overview
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help drive informed business decisions across the organization. This role requires advanced skills in Excel and data analysis, along with hands-on experience working with Power BI and ERP systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) is highly preferred, but experience with other ERP platforms will also be considered. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to transform data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets from multiple sources, including ERP, CRM, and financial systems.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide real-time insights to leadership and business teams.
- Use advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, formulas, macros, etc.) for data analysis and reporting.
- Partner with business units (finance, operations, sales, marketing) to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable solutions.
- Provide leadership and direction to Data Analysis Developer external vendors or consultants when needed.
- Monitor data quality and integrity, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Develop standard operating procedures for data reporting and documentation.
- Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, performance tracking, and decision-making processes.
- Support system integrations and reporting enhancements as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI (required).
- Experience working with at least one ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred but not required).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, correlations, and business insights.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, database queries, or data modeling is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable way.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
