We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to help build out our expense management team. This team will focus on driving more value to our ever growing customer base through developing a better customer workflow for expense tracking and management.

What You'll Do
- Implement scalable SaaS solutions using NestJS (backend) and NextJS (frontend).
- Optimize PostgreSQL databases and microservices architecture
- Collaborate with engineers on SDLC best practices and implement new features
- Leverage AI and agentic tools throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay current with cloud-native technologies and microservices patterns.
- Support deployments by debugging, troubleshooting, and coordinating with DevOps and QA.
- Develop and maintain APIs and other backend functionality.
About You
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience building and debugging cloud-based solutions.
- Commitment to SOLID principles, clean architecture, and TypeScript.
- Professional experience with PostgreSQL (query optimization, migrations).
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent teamwork, documentation, and communication skills.
- This position is preferably based in Austin, Texas.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with scalable Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
- Experience with Javascript or Typescript (e.g., NodeJS, NestJS).
- Experience with React, NextJS, or other frontend technologies.
- Experience with Third-party APIs.
