Position: Data Engineer – Pharma Commercial/Marketing experience

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid, 1–3 days/week onsite) or Tri-state area

Type: Contract to Hire

Experience: 10 + years

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Engineer with strong expertise in the AWS data stack to support pharma commercial and marketing analytics. The role is critical in managing large-scale data pipelines, warehouses, and governance frameworks. You will work closely with business stakeholders and our onshore team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Athena, PySpark, and Python.
Work with structured/unstructured data from pharma commercial and marketing datasets (e.g., HCP, CRM, sales, digital).
Ensure scalability, performance, and governance of data systems.
Collaborate with business and analytics teams to align data solutions with use cases.
Support integration with Snowflake or Databricks (where applicable).

Required Skills

Strong AWS data stack: Glue, Athena, S3, PySpark, Python.
Pharma domain experience (commercial/marketing, not patient side).
Solid experience in data warehousing, transformation, and governance.
Knowledge of Databricks and/or Snowflake a plus.
Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
