Business Intelligence Analyst

MUST:

2+ years minimum of BI experience (3 years ideal)
Need to be strong with starting with SQL for the data prep, then to snowflake, then to BI platform
Strong with data cleansing and story telling both
Strong with the data prep
Very strong with null values
3 years of hands on SQL experience- SSRS
Very strong with creating stored procedures (for writing reports) within SQL- Very strong with joins in SQL- strong SQL reporting experience, experience developing reports in SQL (will access data mart to extract data content for reporting and insights)
Familiar with rank order in SQL
ThoughtSpot hands on experience for visualizations OR analytics for a broker dealer financial services
Ability to take inbound emails from advisors to build ad hoc reports
Great communication + personality + great problem solving + collaboration

PLUS:

Financial services
Python/r some sort of experience for file movement
MicroStrategy experience
Powerbi experience
Snowflake experience
Financial certs= series 7, 65
CFA/CFP
Project management experience

DAY TO DAY:

Our financial services client is seeking a BI Analyst to join their team as a full time employee. This role is hybrid onsite in Philadelphia one day per week. This role uses SQL for reporting for consumers to digest. Our main customers are a variety of wealth management, operations, capital management, and financial advisors. This person will take ad hoc requests from the business to build out reporting using MicroStrategy and ThoughtSpot both.
