Job Specifications:
The Data Analyst is responsible for compiling, tracking and analyzing student and staff data with the goal of increasing teacher and leader effectiveness to ultimately increase students learning.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and prepares reports from local, state, and national assessment data as it relates to individual student performance and school improvement.

Develops and maintain historical student and school data files to monitor and track performance.

Interprets and review assessment data with administrators and teachers, support planning of action steps.

Compiles data from multiple assessments to develop student, subject, grade-level, or school achievement profiles.

Works with staff schools, as needed, in one-on-one and group settings to conduct training in the use of data to improve student results.

Analyzes and prepares reports from Paycom on staff retention, performance, on-boarding and exit surveys and recruitment and makes recommendations.
- Ensures the validity of all data presented to staff.

Prepare required reports for grant/other sources.

Education and Training: (or equivalent)

Bachelor’s degree in instructional technology, statistics, mathematics or a related field. Job experience can substitute for education credentials.

Florida Teacher Certification.
Minimum Experience (Required)
-
3 years’ experience in using academic and staff recruitment and retention data to impact instruction and school systems thinking and planning.

3 years experience as a classroom teacher/prefer prior experience as a school based instructional coach.

Demonstrated ability to analyze student outcome data to drive instructional improvement and support leadership decision-making.

Experience facilitating professional learning sessions and coaching teams on effective data use and data driven instructional practices.

Strong knowledge of data processing software including Performance Matters.

Skill in explaining data to various testing and statistics to administrators, teachers, and parents.

Ability to communicate, both in writing and orally, technical information in a way that is understandable to people without technical training.
