About us: We operate from We The People Townsquare Plaza (1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo), building county/community sites, as well as campaign infrastructure, under PatriotsInAction (PIA) and GOPConnect.
The role
Own our WordPress Multisite network (Avada), templatize county sites, and connect them to our comms stack (Go High Level, Flocknote, Trumpia, Mighty Networks, True-Dialog, and others). You’ll set up, build, optimize, secure, and document—on site, not remote.
You will
· Configure/maintain WordPress Multisite (new sites, roles/permissions, templates).
· Build in Avada using global elements, dynamic content, and reusable layouts.
· Stand up staging → production with backups, updates, and rollbacks.
· Wire automations via Zapier or Make between WordPress ⇄ GHL, Flocknote, Trumpia, email/SMS, and payments.
· Implement tracking (GA4 + GTM, conversions, pixels) and basic SEO (sitemaps, schema).
· Handle performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, image optimization, DB hygiene).
· Harden security (Cloudflare/WAF, updates cadence, least-privilege).
· Build forms & directories; manage user roles for distributed editors.
· Document what you build (checklists + quick Looms).
Nice to have
· Direct experience with Go High Level sub-accounts, triggers, and pipelines.
· Flocknote/Trumpia list management and SMS best practices.
· RSS/feed wrangling for news/obits/weather embeds.
· cPanel/WHM, DNS, SSL, Cloudflare, and basic Git for deployments.
· Accessibility awareness (WCAG 2.1 AA).
You are
· A finisher: you turn requirements into shipped systems.
· Process-minded: naming conventions, checklists, and clean handoffs.
· Calm under deadlines and clear in written notes/screenshots.
Requirements
· 3–5+ years with WordPress (incl. Avada), 1+ year with Multisite.
· Real automations you’ve built (Zapier/Make) connecting forms → CRM → email/SMS.
· On-site daily in Amarillo (no remote).
· Portfolio with URLs + your role.

Base Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
