Juice Plus+ is building a modern data foundation to power decision-making across Partner engagement, customer experience, fulfillment, and financial operations. As we scale globally across systems like Shopify Plus, Exigo, NetSuite, HighJump, DHL, and a custom subscription platform, we’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer who thrives on solving complex data problems and building scalable pipelines that deliver trusted data.

Responsibilities
- Build and optimize data pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows across Snowflake, SQL Server, ADF, and Microsoft Fabric; integrate APIs, JSON/XML, and streaming systems like Event Hubs.
- Ensure performance and reliability: Apply query tuning techniques (indexing, partitioning, caching), enforce data quality and validation processes, and eliminate bottlenecks before they affect business users.
- Design scalable data structures: Develop data models, warehouses, and integration frameworks that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and Power BI Semantic Models.
- Promote automation and governance: Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and governance best practices covering security, compliance, auditability, and data stewardship.
- Drive innovation and problem solving: Apply critical thinking and non-traditional approaches to improve efficiency, automate manual tasks, and challenge conventional solutions where appropriate.
- Enable collaboration and accessibility: Use Git/version control to ensure transparent development practices, act as a bridge between engineering and analytics teams, and partner with governance to advance cataloging, lineage, and trust in enterprise data.
- Deliver with accountability: Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive progress with minimal oversight, collaborating closely with Data Modeling Engineers, Analysts, and IT teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Skills & Experience
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
- Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines (ADF, Fabric, SSIS, or similar).
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON/XML, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with Git/version control and collaborative development.
- Background in data modeling to support analytics and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Located in or near the Memphis/Collierville, TN area.
- Experience with Power BI Semantic Models and self-service BI.
- Familiarity with DataOps practices such as CI/CD for pipelines and automated testing.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks (cataloging, lineage, stewardship).
- Exposure to eCommerce, subscription, or fulfillment systems (Shopify, Exigo, NetSuite, etc.).
