We're seeking motivated software development engineers with strong analytical, programming, and troubleshooting skills to implement high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will comprehend requirements, develop secure and scalable platforms via GitHub, build robust software, and ultimately enhance lives through data-driven insights.

Role Responsibilities

Interpret and implement software requirements, ensuring ease of use, creating unit tests, documenting code, deploying solutions, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support.
Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot, fix, and maintain Best Life's frontend software.
Develop primarily in React Native for mobile, with limited React web components using Material UI.
Utilize Sentry.io for monitoring and troubleshooting.
Work with Sanity Content Management System (CMS).
Interact with the LLIF cloud backend via REST APIs.
Implement secure data synchronization with authenticated third-party platforms for environment and health data (e.g., Apple HealthKit, Health Connect, Fitbit, Garmin).
Develop in private GitHub repositories using agile methodologies.
Participate in daily updates via remote standup meetings at 8 AM EST (East Coast USA time zone).

Preferred Experience

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., computer science, cybersecurity, math, engineering) with 4+ years of experience; Master's with 3+ years; PhD with 2+ years; or 5+ years of relevant experience regardless of degree.
Proven experience in web and mobile frontend development using React Native, React, and Material UI.
Familiarity with real-time data synchronization from fitness trackers (e.g., Apple HealthKit, Health Connect, Fitbit, Garmin) is highly desired.
Experience integrating with large-scale data platforms via REST APIs.
Proficiency with OAuth 2.0 for authentication.
Ability to proactively collaborate on elegant solutions using first-principles thinking to solve complex problems.
Strong skills in formulating and communicating solutions interactively.
Expertise in creatively presenting complex, cross-domain data through web and mobile interfaces.
Experience with GitHub repositories and agile development practices.
Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance productivity.
