Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated part-time Software Engineer student to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications while collaborating with C-Level.
Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain a platform on Node.js or Laravel (ability to learn)
- Collaborate with team members to implement APIs and integrate AI tools like OpenAI or Anthropic
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work with IT infrastructure components, ensuring applications are deployed efficiently on MongoDB
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
- Develop front-end components using React Express, and Angular
- Write unit tests and documentation to support application development.
Requirements
- Some knowledge or willingness to learn for Frontend: React, Angular.
- For Backend: Node.js and/or Laravel
- Knowledge of MongoDB (or willingness to learn)
This position is targeted to become full-time. Also, this is not just a coding position, it takes in consideration your ideas and recommendations for a better platform and takes over the roadmap process once full time.
We provide a laptop and work around your college schedule. Part-time 25 hours, and compensation is W2 for $1500/month.
