Resource Industries Supply Management RISM is seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to develop analyses that support supply chain analytics, and other strategic analytics areas of focus.
JOB DUTIES:
The Data Scientist I will participate on cross-functional project teams in order to solve a problem presented by a Business Unit or Service Organization, a Dealer, or a Customer.
The Data Scientist I is expected to become familiar with the company’s processes, products, and organization. Work is typically directed by a project or team lead/manager who might review both methods and results. Challenges include meeting expectations in delivering results, learning to consider alternative courses of actions, making timely decisions, developing communication skills, working with people, and pushing the technical bounds of experimentation while meeting customer commitments.
Typical task breakdown:
- SQL quarries to extract data and analyze trends
- Building and revising construction of Power Bi dashboards and database schemes
Education & Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with 1-2 years of related experience (internships accepted).
