Job Title: GSS Data Analyst- 2165
Location: New Iberia, LA
Pay: $23 per hour
Average 88–92 hours per week while offshore
3 weeks on / 2 weeks off (may vary based on project needs)
Offshore operations, 12-hour shifts
Contract Type: 6 month W2 Contract
Per Diem: $35/day (travel and standby days only)
- Mileage Reimbursement
- Ground transportation may be provided by SLB if needed
- Candidates must be local to the South Louisiana area
Description
The GSS Data Analyst is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD services to customers. This role involves monitoring well operations, maintaining data acquisition systems, and providing high-quality, real-time data to support drilling operations.
You will be expected to identify opportunities for service improvement, ensure compliance with HSE policies, and maintain confidentiality of customer data at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure job deliverables are accurate and completed on time
- Monitor, record, and process well data and parameters, ensuring data integrity
- Maintain sensors and data acquisition equipment
- Compile End of Well Reports, daily logs, and ad hoc customer reports
- Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and safety procedures
- Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs
- Professionally interact with other service company and customer representatives at the wellsite
- Maintain confidentiality of customer well data

Experience & Skills
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Strong background in well control and well monitoring
- Deepwater experience preferred
- Strong computer proficiency and analytical skills
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and schedule flexibility
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Geoscience degree preferred
Certifications Required
- TWIC Card
- RigPass / SafeGulf
- HUET

Physical Demands & Safety
- Must pass fit-for-duty medical screening (per onboarding requirements)
- Must comply with offshore safety protocols and PPE policies
