IDR is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role involves working with a leading organization in the technology consulting industry, focusing on cloud-native solutions, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. The position offers a chance to contribute to impactful cloud infrastructure automation projects.
Position Overview for the Junior Cloud Engineer:

Plays a key role in driving cloud-native transformation, automation, and CI/CD enablement for clients across industries

Designs and implements scalable cloud pipelines, infrastructure automation, and site reliability engineering (SRE) best practices

Collaborates with software engineers, architects, and cybersecurity professionals to modernize operations

Focuses on enhancing performance and security of cloud environments

Ideal candidates bring strong cloud engineering expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCP and a solution-driven mindset
Requirements for the Junior Cloud Engineer:

3+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Strong background in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for cloud infrastructure and software delivery

Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Bicep

Programming experience in Python, PowerShell, Java, C#, Bash, or Go, with a solid understanding of networking and cloud security principles
